Appointments can be made for the doctor or nurse by telephoning the surgery between 08:00 and 18:30 on 01204 463646. You may also call into the surgery to make an appointment or book your appointment on-line via the link at the top of this page.
To take advantage of the on-line service you will need to create a “VOS” account.
Please note that an appointment is for one person only, and you will require a separate appointment for other patients.
If you feel you need to be seen urgently or in the event of a medical emergency, you will be offered the next available emergency appointment if there are no routine appointments available.
If you wish to speak to a doctor or nurse you will need to telephone the surgery and speak to one of the receptionists. She will ask you:
- Who you are
- The reason you need to speak to the doctor or nurse.
- If the reason for you wanting to speak to the doctor or nurse is confidential you will need to tell the receptionist who will respect your reason for confidentiality. If you feel comfortable to tell the receptionist the reason for your call, they can inform the doctor.
Following this a telephone consultation will be booked for a doctor to ring you back or a message will be left for the nurse to contact you when they are next available.
All the receptionists are trained in how to deal with telephone calls of life threatening or of a very urgent nature.
If you need transport to take to the hospital for an appointment please arrange by telephoning 01204 462888.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
